The Speech I Wish Donald Trump Would Make
One can dream
I’ve never made a speech in my life, let alone written one.
The point of this blog post is not to show how a speech should be written but to share what I believe people would love to hear — what people need to hear.
With the US as the world’s superpower, the world pays attention to what they do.
As the citizens in the US become more polarized, the world needs the US to have a leader who can create unity.
With that in mind, this is the speech I wish Donald Trump would make.
I tried to write it to sound somewhat like Donald Trump as well and kept his talking points in mind.
Thank you everyone, thank you very much. The last few months on the road have been quite something. The last few years too. We’ve overcome the impossible and created one of the greatest political movements the world has ever seen. They told us it was impossible, but today together, we have proven them wrong.
Make no mistake though! Don’t let this be seen as a victory for one, let this be seen as a victory for all. For from the first day I take office, we will work to unite the country under a common cause of re-establishing peace and prosperity in our beautiful country. We will fix our borders, we will fix the broken economy, we will reduce government spending, advance the military and put a stop to the wars which are killing hundreds of thousands of people.
For years, democrats, the media (pause) and even the Republicans have wanted to make you believe that the person to your right or left is your enemy. In an attempt to gain power, they paint a picture of the other as the “bad-guy”.
My goal is to put a stop to this.
If we continue to view our neighbours as our enemies if we continue to blame the other side for all our problems. If we continue to fail to take accountability for the mistakes we’ve made, we will not strive as a nation. But, by coming together as people in pursuit of a common goal, then we can be strong, prosperous and yes… great again!
You are all great people. I’ve met so many fantastic people through this campaign. Thank you for voting for me, for joining our movement and for bettering America. Thank you for putting your faith in me once more. I would like to give a special thank you to a few individuals who have come together these past few months. RFK Jr, Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy and many more special people have gone over the top to help with this victory. They see the same bright future I see. They want America to find greatness once more, the same as you do. Together, we will all make sure this happens.
We have 4 years to lay a foundation that will allow us to prosper for years. Over these 4 years, I will work night and day to do exactly as I have promised you. Securing the borders is our priority. Without secure borders, you cannot have a strong or safe nation. For us to thrive as a nation, we need to operate without millions of illegal immigrants pouring in every year. You, the people of America are our priority — not these illegal immigrants. The people of America deserve to live in a safe country.
From the moment I take office, I will work towards a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia. It is an unfortunate war that should have never happened. Had I been in office, I could have prevented it. But, here we are. That was the past, and what I can do, what I will do, is work on a bright future. We will stop this war and we will do it quickly.
We will also immediately get to work at bringing peace to the Middle East. When I was in office, we were working towards peace and made great progress with the Abraham Accords. Had we had another 4 years, we could have gotten there. We will not let this stop us though. We will work tirelessly on this.
Let’s not forget my newly elected vice-president, JD Vance. He worked so hard the last few months. He was excellent in the debates. He spoke the truth diligently and articulately on podcasts, and at conferences and was not afraid to take on the hard questions head-on. He was excellent through this campaign and he will be fantastic as our vice-president. He’s incredible, isn’t he?
We are entering a golden age for America. As we fix inflation, boost the economy, create jobs, secure the borders, and birth new innovations, America will be great again. I will fight for you as I have for years. Many people ask me why I would want to be president again. The answer is simple, I love this country and the people in this country. Together, we will make America Great again.
Lastly, to my beautiful family. Thank you. My beautiful wife, Melania. You’ve been by my side fighting with me. Not only are you the best first lady ever, but you are also the best wife ever. My fantastic kids and my incredible grandkids. They’ve made wonderful speeches over the campaign, and they’ve shown me some of their videos too. They’re great, aren’t they? Have you seen Kai’s swing? It’s fantastic.
Politicians are always all talk. I am not the same. You will see over the next 4 years the steps and actions we will take. The country will be far better off than it is now when I am done serving for you. We will look back together and be proud of what we have accomplished. We will have peace. We will have health. We will have a powerful economy and military. We will be great again.
Thank you everybody
I know, I know. One can hope and dream. There is a lot of this he would not say, but I think it would be damn cool if he did.
The world needs a leader who brings people together. Politicians separate everyone into categories. They spend billions gathering data, analyzing it, categorizing us and forgetting we are individuals who have our own opinions and aspirations.
The result is tension and chaos.
The media prays for the separation created by politicians. The more tension, the more clicks they will get — the more money they make. And now, the polarization in our countries is more visible than ever.
I believe that this separation is coming to an end though. Our eyes are opening. It may take years and it may not start with Donald Trump.
But, it would be pretty awesome if he was the one to start the process of unifying a nation.
